Hello, I've got an issue with AMD 7850. I've had this card for about 23 months, then one time when I was playing a game the screen went black. When I've restarted my PC after the windows boot screen the screen was full of colorful pixels. I went to the shop I got it from and they took it for replacement. After 1 week I went back they gave me a card the same type as I've had, and they said that it's a new one ( I don't really get how can it be a new one since they don't make those anymore). So I go home I open it up and notice that on the heatsink there are scratches and it's dirty as if there were finger prints or whatever. I put the card in, reinstall the drivers everything works fine. I start up a game and after approximately 5 minutes in the game the screen goes white. I've tried running the game several times and I've got the same result every time. So I bring the card back to the shop and I'm waiting for the new card/repair. After a week again which is today they called me to come and get my card. I get it, open it up same thing again heat sink is dirty/scratched. I start up a game it runs fine for around 5 minutes and then booya, screen goes black the fan on the GPU starts rotating like crazy. I restart the PC start the game again and again the white screen is back.

I've brough the card back to them again asking for my money back to get a new one and they've said that they have to send it back to their technicians to check if it's not working correcetly and then I can get money back.

Is there anything else that can be wrong? I've tried another GPU in my PC and it works just fine no white screens or anything whatsoever so I don't know what to do really, how can a GPU be faulty 2 times in a row now?

If they RMA the card to the manufacturer, you usually get a refurb card, but it should be clean. Did you check the serial numbers and make sure it is different than the one you sent in?

Yes, the number's been different everytime. Can they get it that fast from the manufacturer? It's been 1 week only.

That's kind of weird, usually they will do UPS ground, takes 2-4 days to get there, then about 3-5 days to process the RMA, then anouter 2-4 to get it back, so bare minimum if you are lucky I would say a little less than two weeks.

It seems extremely fishy to me, they seem like "new used cards" and I just don't understand that you get 2 faulty cards in a row...
