1st, I have been a PC builder for over 10 years, but learn new stuff every day.
I just build this low end PC for my niece for steam gaming, (sharing my library).
Components:
Intel Q9550
MSI P6NGM-L Motherboard
ZALMAN CNPS9500 AT
Ram: 4GB 667mhz
Video: MSI 560GTX ti
Now, this was an old PC that I must have build 4 years ago, in 2010, while her older sister's were still in high school. Never gave them any issues, I have had it in storage for about a year or less, since they gave it back, not needing it, since they have notebooks now.
original build was Pentium D and MSI 210
In discussion, she wanted a gaming PC, so I only change out the CPU and GPU and PSU (for GPU).
1. PC will power up, but not always POST and show video
2. PC will power up, beep, but not always show video
3. PC will power up and POST and show video
4. PC will lose video signal but stay on.
Normally, I just do a hard shutdown or reset.
Any ideas
