Hey guys,

I've been having an issue with my computer restarting randomly ingame which has been happening more frequently of late. I had a 660ti and this issue happened a few times but not frequently. It only happened while playing league, Archeafe and other games, this was a rare occurence. My 660 died and I replaced it with an XFX R9 280X black edition. I started playing archeage and the issue started to happen a lot more frequently...multiple times a day. I figured maybe my PSU wasn't enough so I bought a CX750 which should be enough (or so I think) the issue is still around but it doesn't happen as frequently. I updated my drivers and disabled one audio device in audio manager which seemed to help. I'm at a loss for what's causing the issue, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Specs:
FX 6300
8GB RAM
R9 280X
CX750 PSU
Windows 7 64-bit
NB: In the event viewer there always seems to be an error around the time of the restart. It says AODDriver 4.3 service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified. Could this be related?

Do you have a lot of overclocked parts? That power supply should be enough, but not exactly a high end PSU... did you notice the restarts occurring immediately after you put the CX (i'm assuming it's a corsair) power supply in? Or did it run fine for a while and then started happening again? Also what motherboard are you using?

Besides the GPU nothing else is overclocked. The restarts happened much more frequently after putting the 280X in when I had a 550W OCZ PSU, so I got the CX750 to replace it. It keeps happening but a lot less frequently now. My motherboard is a Gigabyte 970A-DS3.I forgot to add that I'd been monitoring my temps while gaming and they're fine, they never go above 60 degrees.

I used the driver sweeper and removed some old nVidia stuff, I hope it does the trick. Will keep you informed, thanks
