I'm going to build a new PC, and I was wondering could I use a PSU from my old PC?

It's a no-name 400w PSU which has been working for me for the past 3-4 years, and I don't know can I trust it with my new mid-end (a10-7700k, 8 gb 2133 mhz ram and gtx 750 which I'll buy for a few months).

Any answer is appreciated. :)

And please don't tell me ''apus are not worth it if you're getting a dedicated gpu'' because I'll get it a few months after I get this PC.

Solution
Why would you need an APU with a dedicated GPU in first place? I'd get myself an i3 or i5 over that. Old PSU is not recommended to run with a new system, and definately not without a generic name. I'd replace it for the sake of my new component's safety.

Because I'm not in a great financial position to get a CPU and GPU at the same time.

If you can make me a build under 315€ with a decent CPU and GPU on an European site, I'll be happy to listen to your suggestions.

And I was considering taking an i3 or i5, but their iGPUs aren't as good as APUs.

I would also be recording League of Legends (only that), and I wasn't sure would an i5 and it's iGPU record at a 30+ FPS.

I can understand. This build exceeds your budget a fair bit but considering you'd buy the components one by one, it'd be better than APU as you'd need faster Memory and costlier MoBo with 7700k w/o any benefits when you put a dedicated GPU in it. So the build goes like this:

i3 would crush A10 in single core performance and in multi core as well, yes the iGPU is not as great but would still do until you get the descrete one. Intel has a better upgrade path while being more power efficient.

I'm not able to interpret the context here, sorry. But I assume you're fine with going the Intel path?

And yes I'm going the Intel path.

Don't buy an APU, if getting a dedicated GPU later. Do it right the first time. Go with a Pentium G3258, cheap motherboard, inexpensive DDR3 1600, and a dedicated GPU.

Something like this.
