I'm updating the problem, just in case you have already read what was the previous situation.

The issue is that I used Aomei backupper to dynamically(as opposed to sector) cloned a 500GB drive to a 1TB drive. They are both dynamic disks. The 1TB drive is not bootable and when I try to boot from it I receive 0xc000000f /boot/bcd is missing information. When I attempt to do anything BCD such as bcdedit with the usb recovery drive(since Windows 8 doesn't allow a recovery CD :sarcastic: ) it tells me it can't talk to any device with the BCD or something along those lines. I'll go digging for the exact error but the consensus seems to be that the USB settings in BIOS such as XHCI or USB 3.0 conflict with what the recovery usb needs in order to communicate with system devices properly or something like that. Playing around with those settings doesn't seem to get me anywhere, so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction because we're playing around in two different territories I'm rather unfamiliar with. Fire away any other questions you might have.

Thanks for the potential assistance, everyone.
