) it tells me it can't talk to any device with the BCD or something along those lines. I'll go digging for the exact error but the consensus seems to be that the USB settings in BIOS such as XHCI or USB 3.0 conflict with what the recovery usb needs in order to communicate with system devices properly or something like that. Playing around with those settings doesn't seem to get me anywhere, so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction because we're playing around in two different territories I'm rather unfamiliar with. Fire away any other questions you might have.
