So when the PC boots , there is this 1 long and many short beeps code and then a restart. It does the same thing and then restarts again , this time booting up normally. I have checked online and it seems like it could be a memory problem. I am going to run memtest86 over the night anyway, but i wondered if any of you know what the problem might be. Thanks in advance!

Hi
you need to know what BIOS you have to decipher the Beep codes, for instance on the AMI BIOS one long and 8 short is a display adaptor missing or failure,so if it is AMI then you might want to remove and then reseat your graphics card.

To DEFINITELY help you we need more info about the motherboard, but here is a generic list of beep codes for different BIOS.

Hi! Sorry for omitting that. I checked and it's a UEFI Dual Bios on a Gigaybte motherboard.

Gigabyte motherboards tend to use Award BIOS and 1 long with 9 short is an AGP (Advanced Graphics Port) error .
So this would suggest a problem with your graphics port,so try reseating your graphics card.
