i have a 400w psu will my system blow up!

i have used extreme calculater and it says my recomended psu wattage is 368w with system load at 90% when system load adjusted to 100% peak load its give me a recomended wattage of 406w will my fsp 400w-60 psu handle this if i dont overclock or anything

calculator are not at all accurate and different sites will give different results.

what is your GPU and CPU ?? and BTW pls dont OC anything on that PSU its a poor quality tier 5 PSU.

no i wont be overclocking will be playing arma2 dayz mod and i have a fx8350 and a hd 6870 this psu runned my whole system fine before but then i had a intel core 2 quad

yer originaly i had a intel core 2 quad q8200 2.35ghz and a xfx hd 6870 1gb with a oldish msi motherboard and also a sata hdd aswell as mouse,keyboard,and mic with two 120mm fans and this psu was fine for a few months im looking to get a new one next week so idealy i just want to tide me over so playing games like dayz so do u think it will run without popping

its not a good idea to use this PSU for a card like hd 6870 generally hd 6870 require a minimum of 500 watt PSU with 25+ amps on 12+ volt rail so the card when under full load the PSU can easily give up so its better to be safe than sorry.
