I have the corsair 750-D case I like the case very much and I recenlty got the H110 CPU cooler for it.
I am going to set up a\a push/pull configeration, so that's 4 fans with 2 intakes which leaves the rear exhaust back fan to be a total of 7 fans while I have a fan controller for just 6 of them.
My fan controller only holds 6 fan I have to put this rear exhaust fan on the motherboard but I dont know which header to put it on the CPU or system fan?
I just wanted to know the differance to see if there is a better option this fan is going to be a 4-pin fan by the way.

So which fan header should I put it on CPU or SYSTEM? I have 2 CPU fan headers by the way.

Thanks, Drew

Attach the h110 to the cpu headers, and use the fan controller for the other case fans. You need something attached to the cpu header so the motherboard thinks there is a fan on the cpu, otherwise it'll give you annoying warnings.

The CPU fan header is for the CPU heatsink fan (or fans) only. The system senses the presence of this during startup, and controls the RPMs to regulate air flow as necessary.

Connect the rear exhaust fan directly to the PSU using the Molex connectors (and adapters). Let it run at full speed for max hot air exhaust.

I was going to connect the h110 to the cpu header but do mean connect the case fan on the radiator to the mobo to, or just the pump?

I have the front fan intake on the fan controller while the 4 on the rad i was going to put on the fan controller to and then i was going to put the rear back panel fan on the mobo but i was not sure what header? I was going to put the 4-pin pump for the h110 on the cpu header mobo. does this sound alright explain more by which you think.
