Greetings,

I'll keep it short and simple, the problem I am having has to be windows related because although by the bar it shows an exclamation and reads Not Connected, I am actually able to connect, surf the internet, watch movies, play games and communicate.

Here are some pictures to elaborate:

As clearly shown from the pictures above, Windows 8.1 clearly states and convinced that I have no access at all to the internet, yet I am able to connect to each and every service and the activity above shows that I have sent and received information. (except Windows-related like Store, Facebook and other downloaded apps -- I cannot access those because Windows shows that I am not connected to the internet).

Please note that I own a legal copy of Windows 8.1 64bit

I haven't the faintest idea of what is going on, it's just like that. I can't quite remember when did this happen but I believe it was few months ago and occurred randomly but still persists.

Down to the specs:
MOBO: GA-880GM-USB3L
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit Pro
Adapter: Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller (version: 8.1.510.2013)
PSU: Antec VP450P 450W
Router/Modem: Asus DSL-N55U Annex A (firmware: 3.0.0.4.374_1395)
