When I try to make a system backup on my 2TB internal hard drive, which has never had Windows on or boots from, it says 'A system image cannot be saved on a drive that your computer boots from or that Windows is installed on'. This hard drive used to be able to backup to, but now it doesn't work anymore.

That can often be fixed by assigning a different letter to your backup drive in Disk Management.

Be sure to restart Windows after changing the drive letter, before you attempt to create a system image.
