It has an 5930k in it so it should be showing 6 and 12. If there something I need to change in the settings after the bios update?

Solution T T terroralpha Oct 5, 2014 happened to me as well. same board, same BIOS. go into the BIOS and load "optimized defaults." then enable things that you actually need, such as RAID and XMP. that should do it
