Hey!

I have a monster gaming pc, and I am satisfied with it. I am looking at the consoles, and I realize that they have some pretty big exclusives that I am interested in. I really want to play halo, forza, and destiny. I have no interest in getting the fps games, as I will just buy them on pc. But, I am wondering if a console will be worth it, where can I find the cheapest one, and which one should I choose? I am leaning towards the Xbox One without the kinect, but I don't know. I have some friends that play on Xbox, and I played on Xbox for 6 years. But, I also really like the destiny ps4 bundle because the ps4 is white, and you get destiny with it. I also need to know if any forza game is going to be fun and if destiny and halo will be fun as well.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

I also am interested in racing games and madden. I really like any racing game, and I can't really do any upgrades to my pc as it is insane as it is.

"worth it" is completely within your brain. No one can answer that for you.

For me, no.
For you, maybe.

It depends on what you like. I bought a PS4 purely because of Naughty Dog (developers of the Uncharted series and The Last of Us/TLOU Remastered), and also because I got a nice bundle with 3 games for only $500 in Australia (where normally the PS4 costs $550). If you have friends that play on XBox and you like using an XBox then go with the XBox. Ultimately it comes down to what your favourite games are. I've owned a PS3 since 2006 so getting the PS4 when I first heard about it was the first thing on my mind - I didn't even consider the XBox One.

If you really want to play destiny that much, get it. If you can justify spending money so you can play destiny, go for it. If it all goes bad you can always sell the xbox and just move back to 100% pc gaming.

Tl;dr buy it if you want it.
