I would go for a locked i5 personally. It will be better for those poorly coded games.

Get 2x4gb RAM

PSU is on the low quality side for a build like this. Change for an XFX550.

This benchmark puts the 8350 (similar to your 8320) at 57FPS with the GTX Titan (This is 1080p Ultra with AA turned on).

This benchmark shows that the GTX Titan and GTX 970 perform about even in BF4.

Therefore, I would say that with AA off you should be able to run 60FPS at 1080p.

I agree however that changing the RAM over for a 2x4 pack is better. The CPU can use two channels at once that way to give faster memory performance. The motherboard has 4 slots, so you can still upgrade to 16GB later.

I personally like AMD because of price/performance and their multitasking performance.

But anyway

If you can though find a build with a locked i5 with same price or budget price, I would accept it.

In games like BF4 you will get exactly the same fps as if you used an intel processor . Older game engines might work better with an i5 but its not a big deal since you are probably not building a pc to play old games anyway .

Definitely 2 x4 gig of RAM .

I would strongly recommend rethinking the peripherals . Its great to have a cool keyboard , mouse and maybe the headphones .
But if you got cheaper , but still good enough , alternatives you can buy a bigger monitor .
Gaming on a 21 inch monitor feels like you are looking in to the game from outside . On a 24 inch or larger monitor you start to feel like you are inside the game because it fills so much more of your peripheral vision .
A larger monitor will only cost $20 - 40 more so it can fit in that budget

I was trying to think of different peripherals but can't find good alternatives. If you have any suggestions please don't hesitate. Also the monitor which has to be HDMI because of reasons.

My way would be to choose the monitor I wanted , usually 1080p and 24 inch

and then see how much I had left over for peripherals .

Guess what? I found the monitor 24 inch and HDMI 1080p that is the same price.

Honestly.. Buy a crap 15$ keyboard. It will work fine. Save up money and but the new gaming keyboard later, if you feel you are missing something.

I wouldn't change out the mouse.

However, I have had some bad with with longevity of Deathadders. My first mouse died after about a year (replaced under warranty), replacement died about 3 years later. This was the older version however, not the 2013.

I still bought a new one though (Just got it a week ago). They are worth it.

The death adder problem I heard was with like really old ones and 2013 was like a gold mine for Razer. I agree to disagree with the keyboard especially since I like Cherry MX.

No problem about the Cherry MX... I haven't actually used a mechanical keyboard; I just know I have no issues with my cheapo lenovo keyboard.

As per the Razer.. As I mentioned, my issues were with the old version, but the performance of the mouse itself was still awesome enough that I'd buy it again, even with the reliability issues.

So far my 2013 version is great. When I turned it on after using a crappy basic logitch mouse for a few months, it felt butter-smooth.

Nice to hear. Can't wait to build this thing. I wish I could pick multiple solutions but I guess you can get it.
