hey guys need some help here, my pc keeps having some performance issues specially in games, where fps drop down at random times also when playing movies 1080p or 720p the image split up leaving a trace or artifacts on the player until catch up and plays normally, again all random, the trick part is i cant figure why since temps seem normal drivers up to date (at least i think they r) and in some games use nvdia experience to optimize the game to avoid major fps loss. any help on this issue would be great, really starts to piss me off :)

Solution
I don't think it would be the 60hz refresh rate as that's the usual.
Possibly the lag you are seeing could be to do with the fact that it is a tv, they don't have the best response time.
I had a friend who used a tv as a monitor and for some games he hated it, if you can try use a computer monitor to see what it is like. If you don't have one try to borrow one - let me know if it helps

Also what are you using for playing movies and what games specifically

Good luck
Cheers

Mr. Campu is correct, sometimes it is due to the TV because they don`t have the fast response time. Try to change your settings in the TV to gaming mode whenever you are playing games. This will eliminate lag and your TV will respond promptly.

Guy tks alot for those infos, indeed changed the tv settings for gaming mode and great part of the lag i used to feel its gone, theres some drop rates in games but its smoother already, still got to test it a bit more but so far seems i found a main reason for the lag. Campus about ur question for playing movies, right now using gom media player, the issue happens no mater player i used, tried BS player, vlc, widowns media player. but once again tks for the help, if u guys can think of any other reason for my issues pls let me know. cheers
