If it dosent break, they are set to last 10-20 years without needing to be replaced.

The pump has a MTBF of 50K hours, a 5 year warranty, and after about 5 years evaporation becomes an issue so I would expect a lifespan of about 5-7 years to be reasonable. I doubt there is much data on longevity beyond that point as these types of devices haven't been around in large numbers for longer than that to really say for sure.
