So I have the i54690k and the Asus directcuii 780 3GB video card. Will this be enough for the new ROG Swift monitor?

It will run at high frame rates if the settings are low enough. You can really see 144hz and probably wont attain that framerate unless its an older game. Adding a second 780 would really boost performance and if you can, do that, but no before you test out your rig or read some reviews first. Also, check the rates at what your games play at using your 780 or similar. Looks like a sweet monitor by the way, if I could afford three for my surround rig, I would!

I was also thinking about the new Benq xl2420g, its a 24" I think that would work better with my set up.

The BenQ has a lower resolution also. By the way, I meant you CANT really see 144hz. Higher than 60, sure, but not over 120. The swift is a better monitor and although its more dough, it is probably the best gaming LCD on the market. If you want the smaller size, res and cost, I think you would be very happy with the BenQ. I have tested the 144hz Asus 24" LCD and it was nice, but not enough to sway me. I use AOCs in my nvidia surround rig. I like them a lot and the were cheap, 500 for the three of them. Triple HD gaming, now that is fun stuff!!!
