I was wondering if I buy a Vizio 4k 70" 240hz UHD TV, if I could use it as a computer monitor.
I am running i7 six core processor, with 32gb ram, and a gtx titan.
Is this possible? Do I need another video card or what?

The answer is kinda multi part. Unless you have a 970/980 you have HDMI 1.4c or lower, you'll be limited to 30 FPS, the next problem is the TV probably doesn't have any inputs that can do 4k at 60Hz. 4k tech just isn't ready yet. You can do it, for gaming you'll probably want a second card even for the 30Hz, one card can do 30, but it's gonna dip below 30 at points. You'll want two.

The 970/980 have HDMI 2.0, but I don't believe there are any TVs out yet that have it, there might be, haven't checked in a little bit.

Ya, just checked the product page, no DVI, no Displayport, 1080p HDMI. You'll be at 1080P, but the TV will upscale, I've heard they look great upscaled though. You would be fine with one video card.

That would destroy my eyeballs. Just get a nice big IPS monitor with a high refresh rate and 1440p, nothing can handle a 4k currently, not your build, and not your eyes. You'd be looking across the room just to see the screen. Ever sit in the front row of a movie theater? Same thing.

Quite possible and worth it. I have similar CPU and memory but with dual GTX980 that support HDMI 2.0. I am using a 50" Samsung that has HDMI 2.0 ports. The dual 980s will run about any game at 4k 60FPS. IF you have a desk and sit it about three feet back it is incredible.

Isn't there away if you have mini display port, which can carry 60fps with 4k, but using an active adapter?

Mad studios were using three 65" 4k TV's @60fps (Panasonic), using 4 titans, running Project Cars. They claim 3x titans would do it, but since they were at a show, used 4, just in case
