Hello guys, so today i got my Gskill ripjaws and i installed them all went good the system booted up and all but then i remembered to check at what speed my rams are running amd it turned out to be 1439 mhz which is default so i switched it to manual so set custom speed i put it at 1866 mhz went to dram timings i set them at 10-11-10-30 which are right timings for those rams last time i checked i even boosted my cpu and nb voltage from 1.162 to 1.262 and dram voltage from 1.5 to 1.55v to give it a boost but it kept crashing me it will reach my password screen and once i start typing blue screen of death so i went back to auto settings after trying so many times now it's at 1333 mhz and the computer kept crashing at the same point ! I mean default settings ! At 1439 mhz the pc worked fine and it didn't crash now it's even worse so please help i can't even run these rams at any speeds now. PS: my cpu is an fx 8350 and m5a97 r 2.0. And another thing my old rams worked fine at 1600 mhz !

What actual set of Ripjaw Xs (model #)? Are you trying to mix these with the old sticks or just running them by themselves
http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=20-231-528

This is it and no i did not mix my old memories with the new ones.
Now i am even having a problem with my old memories :( ! The same thing seems to happen i reach the password screen whenever i click any letter it directly sends me to a blue screen ! I tried the old memories in in the two black sockets where they were installed and in the blue sockets same thing again ! I can't even use my computer now i keep getting blue screens. I ran a memok on both rams by the way and nothing worked ! I even checked all the psu plugs and yet nothing.

So i was able to get my older memories to work and it was a faulty windows update that caused that issue but still i would love to use my ripjaws i mean at least at 1600 mhz if not 1866.

Need the model # - your link above seems incomplete just goes to the Eggs homepage

Never mind man i was able to solve it, i put the right timings and went with auto dram voltage and cpu/nb auto voltage too and of course i set the frequency at 1866 mhz and it's been running really smooth and not even a single crash nor system instability :)
