Hi I have a Lenovo Y460 that has nvidia graphics and an i5 processor and the system font is in chinese which I don't understand. One day when I ran a game it started stuttering then went a blue screen and restarted then again started a game did it again now this time nvidia control panel says error disconnected. I went to device manager and theres a yellow triangle saying error 43. I used driver cleaner but that didn't help. Tried restoring but did not have a restore point that is far enough. I even tried updating the driver but that didn't help.

Hey there, ArmorXIII Type-0!

Code 43 is a common error, which means there is a failed, corrupt or missing driver.
Download the latest Video Drivers for your graphics card and Operating System.
Boot your computer in Safe Mode and go to Device Manager, then uninstall the graphics drivers.
Afterwards click on your computer and scan for hardware changes (this will automatically reinstall your graphics drivers).
Check this from Microsoft's knowledge base:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc725873%28v...
If it's a new video card or a replacement of another one, make sure there are no previous graphics drivers that can cause a conflict.
I'd advise you to uninstall the Nvidia drivers (+ any previous ones) using Programs and Features. Make sure the NVIDIA Display Driver checkbox is checked, then click Remove.
If the problem persists, I suggest to test the graphics card on another system.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted!
