will an evga gtx780 fit in asus mobo p6t deluxe v2? I see that the answer is clearly yes. But the configuration of the display ports won't fit the case, an Antec P182, a bummer since I need a good video card for Adobe Premiere CC. Interestingly, on an EVGA 470, as the ports are in a single line, it will fit nicely. However, on the evga gtx780, the ports are side by side and will not fit! A strange kind of change for EVGA?

Solution
Since the mobo has PCI-E x16 gen 2.0 , yes but GTX 970 is faster and has 4GB VRAM

exactly, all current cards will fit in any motherboard with a PCI-E X16 slot (X8/X4) also, as they are the same slot just different speeds. The generation is also fine, for other people reading this post PCI-E is backwards compatible to if it is not the same generation don't worry (this is not for you to worry, just others).

Also make sure your power supply is sufficient.
