My PC specifications are below so you can see what i use. Currently i am using a Element
ELCFW329 for my screen and it is 1080p, i have no idea why it says it is 720p i have checked my resolution and everything and it is 1080p, it even says it on the back of my TV yet the model # i type in says it is 720p. But anyways is it ok to use a TV screen for my PC until i buy my monitor in December? A link to it is below if you wanna read up on it.

I am looking for an IPS monitor that is $200/under, 1080P, and i want it to atleast be 22 inches/above. Can someone give me some good models? The best one i have found is the ASUS VN248H-P which is below, tell me what you guys think, thanks! :)

You don't want to T.V for gaming, the Asus will be far better and won't hurt your eye's like the T.V. will when you sitting in front of it at a close distance. The IPS screen you'll much prefer over the screen over the above listed television, the clarity, colours and sharpness is far better. That Asus is one of the best your going to lay your hands on for the price, and certainly a great choice. The resolution will also be noticeable, 720p for 32" and 1080p for 23.8" is a big difference.

I know what you said about using the T.V., I am just listing the advantages of the Asus.

Sorry if you did not mean your deciding between a T.V. and monitor, just in case you were.

You can use it with your PC, and it should work fine.

yes, shouldn't be a problem. It would also be great for an update on the new monitor, and your comparison of the two. Always best to have user feedback from later similar cases.
