recently downloaded opera broswer for my pc (windows 7), and i dont see any norton extensions so im not sure if it will be safe to use opera, would it be ok? do i need the norton extensions for opera? cant find them even if i search for new extensions, thanks

The Norton web browser extensions support only the most popular browsers. If you are at all worried it's very easy just to switch to a supported browser, but I wouldn't worry about it to be honest. I have online security (Comodo) but no browser add-ons except a pop-up blocker. In spite of that I've never had any problems, browser hijacks or drive-by infections, and Google Chrome has it's own fake website alert feature anyway.
