THe reason i picked the MSI version is because it comes out on top in the R9-280 series in performance. But will it be able to run these graphics mods at least at 30FPS? I really hope so because i am building this PC just for Skyrim. Here is a link to my GPU and the RealVision ENB mod for Skyrim. I know my CPU is more than enough but can my GPU handle it? It has 3GB of VRAM so that should help also. I will be playing on a 23 inch IPS 1080P monitor also. I can never get a direct reply on this subject. Can the R9 280 be able to play SKyrim just like in the pictures below? Also my PC specifications are in my signature below.

Here is my GPU

I have a R9 290 Vapor-X, And I use Realvision, I get roughly 50fps with the fully maxed out realvision. I'm going to presume whats really holding me back is my 8350..

If you look under the downloads, the developers of the mod have performance enhancing realvision revisions. Somethings get cut out but may give you a significant boost.

As to your question, it... might. But use the recommendation I suggested above, maybe use the performance revisions if it doesn't.

I do not understand what you mean? And almost 80% of people say they have a fully modded Skyrim when really it looks no different than PS3 :(  Can you send a Screenshot of yours so i can see if it really works and does it look like the pictures i posted above?

It says a GTX 670 can run it, isnt that weaker than a GTX 760? Because i know the R9 280 is more powerful than the GTX 760.

I sorta lied, I don't use realvision fully, I use alot of the mods he has IN realvision. I still use enb, sweetfx tho. Too have the 100% look of what he has in those photos, you also need to download about 20ish other mods to make it look like that. THAT BEING SAID, Here are some screenshots from MY modded skyrim.

Right out side of Riverwood..

Rorikstead...

EDIT: The 670 is about on par with the 280.. depending on the game. Also, you have an intel CPU, and I have the FX.. You will get a bit better performance out of the short run.

I don't want to promise you anything, But from looking around people are using a bit lower cards than the 670 and there still accomplishing the look and feel.

Make sure you read Realvision description carefully.. Some mods are not necessary and can take a big fps hit.

End result, Mess around. That's what modding is for, to explore and have fun.
