Shadow of Mordor frequent freezing?

So I'm having an issue with the brand new game that was released: Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor. Many people seem to have no issues running this game, but I seem to be in the minority. I'm experiencing frequent freezing with the game every thirty minutes to hour of play time that requires me to reboot my entire system by holding down the power button (I've tried control + alt + delete, but the entire system is unresponsive). It will give me an error message (sometimes) saying that the current driver has stopped responding and has recovered. Also, if I leave the game in a menu without touching anything and walk away for about two or three minutes, it'll go black, crash to desktop and give me an error message that reads something like "the GPU has been removed or reset." My GPU drivers are up to date.

Can someone please help? I really want to play this game and for some reason it's not working. I really don't want to think that I've wasted $50 here.

Current System Specs:

Asrock Z87 Extreme 6 Motherboard

i5 4670K @ 3.4GHz

16GB of Crucial Ballistix Sport @ 1600 MHz with 9-9-9-24

EVGA 780 Ti Superclocked

850W Corsair RM power supply

Considering that it's a new game, I would strongly suggest posting on their forums; I'm sure they will be a lot more familiar with the bugs in their game than we will be.

Also, you've tried clean-reinstalling your drivers as well as trying older drivers, right?

I haven't clean-reinstalled them. How would I go about doing that? And I was originally playing with an older driver that caused the game to be more unstable, so the newer driver isn't the issue, I believe. However, I did have trouble installing the newest version with Nvidia Geforce Experience (it kept failing for some reason), so I downloaded the executable from the site itself.
