What is the best card I can get for a Dell Dimension 4500? It's AGP 4X.

I'm helping a friend get the most for the least as he only uses it for browsing and some games and I feel his browsing would improve if I could get something decent for him.

Right now he has a ATI Radeon 9600 XT 128MB card in there. Would be great if there is a 512MB card out there?

From what I recall the HIS Radeon 4670 was the last and greatest of the AGP cards.

Sadly it's quite expensive nowadays and you'd probably be better off building a new system if you cannot find a good deal on it.

Here's an example of it (a bid on ebay right now)

You could cut lots of corners and get an affordable lower end gaming system in the US, the CPU is quite weak for newer games but should be fine for some lower end games and the r7 260 is about as powerful as the Xbone's GPU (just a suggestion).

Thanks for your help! Yes, a little expensive and it seems to need a 400W power supply, but only 250w psu in his system. Dell has the power outlet on the top left if you look behind the case, so can't even find anything cheap to fit.

I have to admit, I like your budget build. I will suggest that to him and see what he says, thanks :)
