An i7 is overkill (ignore anyone who says "eight cores will be necessary sooooooon"), 16 GB of RAM is overkill, and I always feel that 128 GB is too little for an SSD. I'd never go less that 250.

Looks great to me, you can cut on SSD to get Samsung EVO, for less price. Everything else looks good, don't get the reference GPU, MSI/ Asus/ GigaByte/ EVGA ACX 2.0 are better cards.

Get a MSI Gaming GTX970.

Put prices on your build

Edit - Try Asus N15 for wifi (or N53 for dual band)

What has eight cores got to do with anything?

There are a few posters who come in to every build thread and go "You really should get the i7 for gaming performance, you know games will start using eight cores soon!" when that's about as true as me being the Queen of England.

Right, but the I7 4790K is a four core so I'm still confused why eight cores was brought up

i7 is HyperThreaded, meaning there are 4 logical cores and 4 virtual cores, for enhanced performance. This makes a total of 8 cores, 4 true, 4 virtual.
