My computer got infected with malware. I took it to a computer 911, and they removed the malware. The tech had everything up and running shortly before I picked up the computer.

I got the PC home, reconnected everything, and booted up the system. The computer booted up, and there is power to the computer, but I keep getting a message on the monitor saying there is no signal from the computer to the monitor.

I have a spare monitor, so I hooked that up - same message.

I have swapped out the cables, using both the divi and the VGA cables/ports....still, nothing.

And yes, I've made sure the cables and power supplies are tight and not loose.

I removed the cover and looked for a CMOS battery, but didn't see one (there was a suggestion to take that out and then put it back in, and it worked for some people who have had this problem), but again...I did not see a CMOS battery.

Could this be an issue of a static charge? I'm at a loss as to what is causing this.

Thanks for your help.

If using an add-on GPU, there is just a chance that the card has lifted slightly during transit to your home, so try re-seating it by removing and pushing it firmly back in to the slot.

CMOS battery: every motherboard has one so look again. make sure you're looking at the populated side of the motherboard, not the other side of it.
