I overclocked my gpu core from 950 mhz to 1050 then ran 3d mark vantage and uniheaven benchmarks a few times and my max temp where 78c is that fine or not ? And is my warranty now gone on the gpu ? And does is shorten the life of the card ? I'm running is stock now don't see any need for the overclock or will I see beter fps with that little oc ? Thanks

At auto the card will run hotter because it is optimised for lower noise, 78 degrees is cutting it close, But what happens when the weather gets hotter? It will continue to run over 80 degrees but I would not recommend that because that can degrade your card.

I personally would run the fans faster but it's up to you, leave it at stock if you want. 100mhz will yeild some more fps but not much for what temps you are getting.

It's a choice between noise and 4-5 fps ;)

78 degrees is cutting it close, 80 degrees for me is the Max for that card. Anything over that could degrade your card.
Now Im not 100% certain but I don't think overclocking breaches your warranty, only overvolting your card does. So you're fine :)

You gained 100mhz on the core which might give you about perhaps 3-4fps difference. You can run a benchmark, record the score. Overclock it and then replay the benchmark to see.

Now for your temps, did you overclock in AMD overdrive? If you used another software use the custom fan curve to set your fan up, or in overdrive set the fan to always run at a higher setting. That temp is close but you may be able to decrease it with a higher fan speed.

I used oc guru the software that came with the card and the fans speed whas set on on auto if I set it to manual is runs cooler but a lot of noise so I rather leave is running stock then ?
