hello,
is there a way to make csgo run smoother ?
i have around 200 fps but the game doesn't feel smooth i have tried so many things that this is like my last chance to fix it my specs are: FX6300 6core (3cores 6threads) 8gb ddr3 ram gtx650 1gb 128kingston v300 ssd. not sure what is causing this but on my old laptop csgo ran perfectly smooth with 50-70 fps now that i have this pc and running it at 200fps it doesn't feel the same.i already asked a few people already but they advised me to buy a 144hz monitor.. the thing is that when i had my laptop it was smooth on a 60hz. so please can someone help me.

ps. sorry for my bad English i'm from Holland so English is not my mother language

The issue is that you are running it at too high a fps and that is meaning that there is tearing of frames as the display is trying to display multiple frames at the same time, so a 144Hz monitor would be a good solution or you can put vSync on and this will cap the fps of the game to 60, just like the monitor and this will also remove that issue but introduce other issues for the game

Hey, thank for the fast response. i already tried v-sync on normal/adaptive and triple buffer but it doesn't fix my problem the game still feels unsmooth. i never tried a 144hz monitor but i'd rather try everything else before considering to buy since they are so expensive. over clocked my monitor to 74hz but it doesn't change anything ingame
