Okay i am after a budget gaming pc and have the limit of £500 and have found 2 that i like the sound of but with them being AMD CPU's and Graphics cards i don't know if the power supply the right size for them i do plan to overclock them at a later date but i think there normal settings should be okay for now.

First PC £460

AMD FX-8320 3.50 GHz (4.00 GHz Turbo) Eight Core Processor
Radeon R9 270X 2GB Graphics Card
8GB RAM
1TB Hard Drive SATA3 6Gbps
500W Power Supply
Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3
24x DVD/CD Rewriter

Second PC £480

AMD FX-8350 4.00 GHz (4.20 GHz Turbo) Eight Core Processor
Radeon R9 270 2GB Graphics Card
8GB RAM
1TB Hard Drive SATA3 6Gbps
500W Power Supply
Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3
24x DVD/CD Rewriter

i would have liked to spend some more but low on funds and the PC i have at the moment is absolutely garbage as my old Gaming PC CPU went and took motherboard and graphics card with it... and it was an intel i5 4th gen CPU.

Current PC information for funny's

OS Vista home premium
CPU 2.40 GHz duel core
2GB memory
Geforce Nvidia GT 520 (The horror)

Game infomation if you need it

Final fantasy ARRB
SWTOR

What is the make and model of your PSU. It depends on that. If it's from this list being the Tier 1, 2A or 2B it is a good PSU and will be sufficient for your build. Though leaving a bit of headroom is advisable (550 - 600 W PSU is enough)

Thanks for quick reply's think i will get the second PC little more costly and its the 270 not the 270X but theres so little between them that dose not matter but there is a bigger difference between the FX 8350 and the FX 8320.

any thoughts on the price of the 2 PC are welcomed note that they both don't have windows. (but i have win 7 on disk so no issue on that part)
just want to check that im not getting done over on price for parts too much.

This motherboard can only overclock the 8 core chips to 4.5ghz max. This is due to the VRM/ 4+1 power phases. Although with a 6 core or 4 core you can overclock much higher due to the chips needing less power overall. I have this board and the 6300 chip overclocked to 4.7ghz. If you want to overclock the 8 core higher than 4.5ghz, you will need a more expensive motherboard.
