Hey, I was hoping for some advice in regards to a new build I'm planning.
I have some experience of computer maintenance, I've swapped out parts and what-not but I've never actually built one from the ground up on my own before. I've done some reading and it seems pretty straight forward, I was just hoping you guys could give me some feedback on my parts list.

Here's a run down of my parts list so far:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz
MOBO: MSI Z97-G55 SLI ATX LGA1150
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 4GB WINDFORCE
Case: Corsair 400R ATX Mid Tower
Power Supply: Corsair RM 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX

Among other parts, a full list of which can be seen in the link below, my full build comes to around £950

I work in CG art so I need to be able to run programs like 3DS Max, and I will be using it for rendering, but it'll also be used as a gaming rig.
I'm trying to stay as close to or under £950, if anyone can see anything that could be swapped out for something cheaper or more efficient please let me know, as well as if there's anything in there that isn't up to the job. I've deliberately left 2 memory slots open so I can upgrade in future when I can afford it.
Thanks for reading and any feedback you can provide!

Hi there @Tectonic_Knight!

The build looks solid, but I would like to suggest few things about it.

Are you going to overclock the processor? If you do, then you have to add a CPU Cooler. In case you're not, there's no need to go with the unlock series of Intel and the PSU would be an overkill because the PSUs are most efficient when loaded at about 70-80% of their max labeled capacity (I think that 600W would be enough for the build).

Lastly, if you intend to run programs from the hard drive as well as from the solid state, I would recommend to take a look at the WD Black. It's the "gaming" line and is meant for high-performance systems and gaming.

The rest of the build looks solid.

Cheers! :)

@Mighty_Miro_WD

Thanks for the advice man, you were definitely right about the power supply there, and no I'm not intending on overclocking so I guess I can switch to an i4-4670 and save a few quid, I've still added a cheap CPU cooler to the build just because I've always been told stock ones are garbage and that part must have slipped my mind, like I said this is my first solo build :p
Thanks again for your feedback, feeling a bit more confident about this build now.

Updated the parts list in the link, if anyone else has any additional info or experience on how the parts in this set up perform with regards to rendering and gaming, I'm all ears!

Get low profile ram modules so they don't interfere with the EVO.

The EVGA 650W power supply should be changed to EVGA B2 , G2 , P2 model , they are the good ones made by Super Flower.

@SR-71 Blackbird

Hey man, thanks for the advice but I'm looking for B2, G2 and P2 models and they all seem to be either mega overkill on the wattage or a bit on the expensive side, you said I should go for them because they're made by superflower, shall I just go for a superflower one? I can see overclockers is doing a deal on the SuperFlower Leadex GOLD 650W which looks like it'd do the trick
