intel core i5 for 1155 motherboard

Solution
The 2400 is only 200MHz slower than a 3570K, not to mention there is no assurance his board can support ivy bridge.

The 2400 will be more cost effective and also run GREAT.

Well the Z68's aren't being made anymore, and the only Z77 on the market is that crappy AsRock Extreme 4(which is definitely re-certified junk and has used parts on it, also the Z77 have different voltage controls for the Ivy Bridge chip and will probably give your 2500k some issues if you try to overclock it a fair amount i.e. 5.0ghz). My 2500k ran 3 yrs@5.0ghz before my Msi- Z68 took a dump, I wanted to just replace the board with a high voltage/OC Z77 board, but their just aren't any good ones anymore. I upgraded to the 4690k Devil's Canyon/ Asus Sabertooth Mark 2 Z97. Cost with Hyper 212 Evo=$405.00 MicroCenter

Cerified junk? How?

I own a Z77 Extreme 4, and I am pretty happy with it, its only flaws I can for sure say it has, is its LLC that is pretty inaccurate and the fact that the board thickness isn't as good as others.
