Not necessarily better though.. The usual rule is that High end card>SLI medium range. This is because not all games support SLI and in those cases a high end card is obviously better. SLI also increases heat which theoretically means lower life span for you components. The money/performance ratio greatly decreases once you go to 3 and 4 way SLI configs.
