Which Upgrade should i go for?

hey guys ive been stuck trying to figure out which upgrade i should go for please any advice would be helpfull

1st Build.
Intel Pentium G3258
MSI H97M-G43 Motherboard
Corsair XMS3 4GB DDR3-1333 - CL9 x 2
Thermaltake Litepower 650W
500GB Western Digital HDD
GTX 650 1GB


2nd Build.
Core i3 4150
ASUS H81M-K Motherboard
Corsair XMS3 4GB DDR3-1600 - CL9 x 2
Thermaltake Litepower 550W
500GB Western Digital HDD
GTX 650 1GB

the games i want to play are Counter Strike Global Offesnsive ( any idea on the fps on this game with thesews 2 builds? )aswell as diablo 3 reaper of souls and skyrim

Hey there Dawnrunner,

I would say the i3 build is the more powerful one as the i3 acts like a quad core thanks to Intel's hyperthreading and IPC (even if you OC the Pentium). With the second one, you can upgrade to i5 or i7 in the future. If you can get the PSU from the first build, that would be even better. A more powerful PSU is always a good advantage as it handles electricity better and gives you more space to upgrade.
Given everything else is the same, the second build would be the better choice.
