I have a problem with my current 500w PSU.I hear a strange noise from it.I have searched all over the internet and i noticed that some guys have this problem even if they upgrade their 750 watt PSU to a 1000 watt PSU.Please tell me what PSU are you using to support this graphics card.Tell me the model that you are using.I want to upgrade my PSU but i am afraid that this problem will continue and i ll lose my money. In my country i cant RMA my product. Please guys help me.

Well what PSU do you have? I know many people that use a GTX 660 and most of them have a Corsair TX650M.

500 watts is enough to run a GTX 660. Sounds like the fan may be going bad since that is the only moving part in a PSU. If you replace it might as well get a 600 to 750 watt unit. Whatever one you can get a good price on. Get a tier 1 or tier 2 PSU. Seasonic, XFX, Corsair and several others are safe bets.
