How to update bios with no signal, need help!

I have a MSI h87-g43 and It needs a bios update to work with Haswell Refresh CPU's I have a i5 4690k, so when I boot up my system it says no signal, so I need instructions on how I can update the bios with no signal or any other way! thanks in advance!!!

You're getting no monitor signal because your PC BIOS can't POST with an unsupported CPU installed.

You'll need to get hold of a CPU that your motherboard currently supports on the existing BIOS, then you'll be able to update it to support the i5 4690K. There is no other way to update the BIOS to the version you need.

Hi there,

And Philip is right. You may want to try and find a non-expensive CPU from Pre-Refresh Haswell and install that in the Mobo to be able and do the BIOS update. I tried checking to see if your Mobo supports the ability to update without a CPU. But it sadly doesn't.

Won't be able to do it any other way I'm sorry.
