I'm working one building my first computer, and I'm just wondering what you think of the performance of these specs. Also, is the motherboard a reliable one that can run everything? And my other question is do you know anything that will allow me to know if everything can fit into my tower?

Specs:

CPU:
AMD FX - 6000 3.5Ghz (I heard the stock cooler was weak, so I may buy a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO in case I decide to overclock)

Motherboard:
Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 ATX AM3+

Memory:
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series (2x4GB)

GPU:
MSI DeForce GTX 760 2GB TWIN FROZR

Power Supply:
EVGA 500W

Op Drive:
LD DVD/CD Writer

Tower:
Corsair Carbide Series 300R Windowed ATX Mid Tower Case

I would recommend a larger power supply and I will explain why. I asked the community and I laughed because of the responses I got that my power supply was too high. I am college educated and I can not stress enough that you should install a power supply that can handle 30% more of your systems capacity. Power supplys wont burn out early if they can handle more than the total of the capacity of your build.
