connecting pc to tv

Hello,

I have a gaming PC which I use now and again, which I would like to Connect to my TV (46/48 inch Toshiba LED)

every time I connect VIA HDMI the image does the fit the screen well, can anyone help me out, also any suggests to get the best of my TV with my PC

graphics card is a GTX 780

firstly you would want to know if you have a 720p tv or a 1080 as this can affect the distortion .. the resolution you choose is greatly reliant on the native resolution of the tv .. what resolution tv do you have ?

What you might be referring to is overscanning. (does the fit well = doesn't fit well?) It's a common problem amongst TVs when being hooked up to a PC. From what I know you have to manually adjust the picture itself in the TV settings. I don't know of any programs that can adjust or fix overscanning.

I will have a look at the TV settings as well!
