Monitor displaying red, green, blue, white and black

Hello!

I have a Samsung 305T Plus and it only support DVI. And I want to use it with a PS3.
So I got my self av HDMI to DVI cable. But when I connect the PS3 to the monitor with the cable, it starts to display only colors. Like red, green, blue, white and black, in a loop.

Just like this one.

Also read something about "Burn In mode", but I have no idea what that means.

Please let me know if you have any questions or solutions

Does it do the same thing with any other sort of device plugged in? I would check Samsungs website and documentation (manual) of the monitor and see if there is any mention of such a mode.

Nothing wrong with the cable, tried it with my PC and another monitor. And I got it with no manual or anything. It only have buttons for power, and brightness up and down.

Looks like the cable I have is HDMI to DVI-D single link. Do you think I will need an adapter with DVI-D dual link and not single?

Another update.

Looks like it's something with the PS3. The monitor worsk fine with pc..
