I have bought new cpu amd ii x4 955
I have installed correctly in my motherboard. .when i start my pc he dosnt start..i put back again my old cpu and again nothing he don't start again...my motherboard is asrock n68-s

Did you press the switch on the back of the power supply? Everything hooked up right? Same thing happened to me and i was really frustrated then realized that the switch was off :)

Hi there,

May want to check for any bent pins on the CPU, also if you manage to start the PC up again. You would need to do a BIOS update to allow use of the Phenom.

If nothing happens, then I would say that the board might have died during installation...
