Mobo with SLI Layout

tl; dr; Anyone know of a mobo with a configuration that doesn't put the sata ports in the PCI area? SLI with 780TI's takes lots a space, and I need to update my mobo/cpu anyway. Price range, eh lets keep it mid - high end but below enthusiast. I have time to save up money and may just jump at the new ddr4 intels.

Details:
I'm currently upgrading my PC piece by piece and found out yesterday while installing my 780TI SLI that my Sata ports are in the way. For now I have a solution that is safe an reliable but it has left me with a single Sata port that is used by my harddrive. I was hoping my next upgrade would be a solid state drive but.....first my mobo needs a layout change if that's going to happen.

Almost all new MoBos follow this layout, the SATA ports are always placed like that, not heard of a single MoBo which has a different layout. Getting a right angled Sata connector is a clever way to avoid all the unwanted upgrade of MoBo (if its fine w/o that issue). Something like this:
