Someone is selling one R9 290x OEM very cheap to me, I've been planing to build a computer for some time now, I just wanted to know if it is as good as the other versions, and if possible a very cheap build so I can put it to use ASAP (I will upgrade the parts later, For now I just want to play ASAP) also by preference (a lot of preference) I like the fx8350 so if possible having that in mind :ange:

Thanks for any answer, the build part is just an extra, with the answer about the card I am fine :sarcastic:

Chances are it is a reference 290x. Yes it is the same as the other 290x's, but the cooling is sub par, and the card is loud. You may want to look at an aftermarket cooler. If you can take the noise, then you can set your fan speed high and walk away. It will be loud but it will stay cool and shouldn't throttle the clockspeeds. I set my cards to 70% fan speed manually, and they never get the chance to go high in temperature. They are loud though at that fan speed.
