Well my aunt gave me her Macbook Pro that OS messed up on and I tried to repair but it was running OS X Lion and cannot upgrade to OS X Mavericks without to CD and I do not have another mac to install Mavericks on and make bootable usb to fix my aunts Mac. Because of all the issues I decided to install Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit to the macbook pro, I did NOT use bootcamp or parallel or whatever those programs are called. I started the Windows 8.1 Pro install disc as a repair disk and installed it just as if it was a normal pc. Everything is up and running fine my only issue is the trackpad installed the drivers for windows but its on a macbook pro trackpad and because of this I cannot rightclick or scroll. I was the gestures of a PC that has only a trackpad with no left or right click buttons(like a normal pc trackpad would have) but running on Windows 8 installed to a Macbook Pro. Lol I know this may be confusing or not explained right but just trying to see if others have done this and what they did to get around these problems!
