Hello,

So we are encrypting our folders with the built in Win 7 EFS which works great since it seamlessly encrypts files in the background.

The thing is we want to back these files up to Carbonite with their certificate so in case the EFS computer dies we can just take the EFS files on the cloud and move them to another computer.

The problem is that with Carbonite when the files are uploaded they don't show anything. It shows the name, and the file size, but when downloaded back down to a different pc there are literally no files in the .zip. I know how to move EFS files from one computer to another, but the movement to Carbonite doesn't seem to work. We called them and they didn't have an answer. I should be able to backup an EFS file right?

Is there a way to backup a EFS file onto a cloud and use it later on a different PC (certificate included of course)
