So i recently picked up a second asus monitor (VG248) i hooked it up via the second DVI port on my GPU (GTX 770) and now my old monitor looks washed out. My new one is the same resolution but is 144hz instead of 60. The old monitor didn't look like this before. Any suggestions?

Did you go through the settings and set them the same? When you unhook the new monitor, does the image quality go back up? The monitors are different as you said and the panels probably differ as well as some of the electronics inside.

The image quality goes back to normal when i unplug them, I thought since the model numbers were nearly the same (VG248 and VE248) it wouldn't do anything to it. Is there a way to fix this?

Strange. How are you connecting them? It could be a poor connection or a bad cable. The LCDs are quite different as one is for work use and the other for gaming. You can still get them to work together though by adjusting the settings visually.

I'm connecting them through DVI-i and DVI-D (I'm not sure on the difference), but the setting have all the same setting atm. I've tried adjusting them but nothing seems to add the unwashed look to the old monitor.

DVI I is single link and D is dual link. In your case it doesn't matter. Have you tried any of the other connections, like HDMI?
Got me stumped. When I think of something else, Ill get back at ya.
