I just got Comcast internet only and have my own Motorola sbg6580. Every is set up and running, but the wifi won't extend past about 10'. I can get great speed in my living room, but can't even connect in my bedroom. It is where my at&t one was by the tv. I do have Ooma, the tv and blu-ray hardwired to it. All my phones are cordless DECT6 and none are close. I did move it as high as I can and still won't work. I don't have a lot of options due to the only cable line in is there. The at&t I had was in the cabinet and I had both bedroom tvs hooked up and could use it outside. With this one nothing but the living room.
