I currently have an Intel Pentium G3258 at stock because of some troubling issues. I overclocked the processor to 4.0ghz+ with the voltage at 1.2 and I tested its stability for at least 30 to 60 minutes, there were no errors of any sort and the temperatures were acceptable (up to 74 degrees). I then proceed to use it normally and during some of the less intensive tasks such as browsing the web, the processor (or whichever part is at fault) fails and the computer powers off to greet me with a message recommending I restore my settings to the optimized defaults. What is problem and how do I remedy it? Thank you for your time and advice. If you would like more information feel free to ask.

Thats quite odd, get into safe mode and see if you keep having crashes there.
