Is this a good build? Is everything compatible? (I know I probably went overkill for the RAM)...

Motherboard: MAXIMUS VII HERO

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K Haswell Quad-Core 4.0GHz

GPU: EVGA GTX 780 ti Classified

RAM: G.SKILL Trident X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 2400 MHz

PSU: Cooler Master V750

Hard Drive: Western Digital WD Green 2TB IntelliPower 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s

CD ROM: ASUS DVD-Writer Black SATA Model DRW-24F1ST - OEM

Case: Phantom 410 (black)

Anything I'm missing?

You didn't go over board at all with that RAM. I basically have this build only I have a 970 and a different PSU! This is a great build no doubt :) . Any reason you got a 780 Ti and not a 980?

How much more does the GTX 980 cost? Because I've only seen it go maybe 2-5 frames better than the 780 ti on most games...

It's $549. I would suggest getting it due to the extra energy efficiency and VRAM
