Is it possible to build, a wireless monitor?

I have 4 unused monitors sitting around and I want to be able to turn them into something without having to throw them away. Does this require a IR receiver? I am trying to have able to receive information from the tower especially with play slideshows for the people to see them without me having to project it on the overhead projector.

Can anyone help? Or explain if it's possible?

Some Intel CPU's support wireless display once you get a Intel wireless card that supports it and something like the PTV3000.

But you may or would have to get an PTV3000 for each monitor. And it would have to have HDMI on it, and USB. Unless you plug this into the power
