Hi, I currently have a GT 620 LP That I have, and I want to use it.

Unfortunatly my computer only gives off 220w, so My computer shuts down constently when I have the GT 620 on my CPU.

I was wondering if http://www.ebay.ca/itm/HP-Pavilion-Slimline-Flex-ATX-35... < This power supply would be able to be used in my computer.

My computer is the Acer Aspire AX3950-EB10P.

It said in the discription that it would be compatable with HP, so I am just checking.

This is my first time using the forums, hope to get to know lots of new stuff :)

You need 350 watts minimum according to this sheet https://forum-en.msi.com/faq/article/printer/power-requ...

Also be sure that your MB is ATX and not mini ITX like alot of the slimeline models are

That is why i'm trying to get a 350w power supply. Also how do I check if my MB is ATX or mini ITX? I checked the dimension of the Power supply, and I figured it would fit.
And would that Power Supply Still work on my acer even if it's for HP?

Yup power supplies work across all name brands, it is the connections and case dimensions that are the main concerns. How to tell the difference between what type of power supply is easy. Just look on your motherboard and write down the name and model of the board, typically larger text somewhere on the board and look it up or post it here and we will help.

Is there a way to find out what motherboard you have?

I used CPU-Z and it says:

The one you picked is fine for your case. If you intend to eventually upgrade your card make sure to get a PSU with one or 2 6 pin PSI connectors or molex to 6 pin adapter. Your current card needs no external power connection i can see so you will be fine for now with this setup you picked.

To fit your case you need a SFX form factor PSU, so if you want to go with a more dependable PSU in the higher end of your price range i would suggest this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... There you go :)

Unfortunately slimline cases are not the best for upgrading options. I started out with a Hp slimeline and if you are getting into the building computer scene, best thing to do next is ditch that case for an ATX case and build off a ATX MB. Way more options involved for you then.

Seasonic is a consistent top ranked PSU across most PSU reviews and tiered list. You just never know what you are getting with no named PSU's. Not that they are totally bad to get, but if you want to protect your gear and not be bummed out after a week when its fails, then go with a trusted brand like the seasonic one
